how we all connect lately...

i grew up in the 60's ~70's~ 80's and then came the technology of the internet into my life& oh yes i was a late starter to all the new windows that it opened and it just really makes me think back to how we used to call each other (there was no texting or email ) and how we actually talked to others and connected mentally & physically, now we just plug in and whoosh our thoughts & messages are for the world to see...there are many great things about the new technology yes, but also it has opened up a world of u tube videos peoples outrageousness with people tryig to top the last guy or girl & then theres so much accessibilty to more porno too, which now seems to bring the freaks out of the closet to our children & causing many issue's in relationships, but also we can manage our business's from a few keys strokes & mailboxs which I really am learning to love cause in my jewelry business not only am I getting my work out there for millons to see but I am creating a few really great friendships that without the internet would probably never be, so yes i am learning to accept the latest ways of our wonderful world of technology but ya know what?... I still love writing a card on paper with special words in it and putting it in the good ol' fashioned mail box to make someone day a little brighter and also enjoy going to my own mailbox to see what may be in mine too ! so on that note i am heading to go check my real mailbox and yes answer the emails that have whoosed threw cyber space. have a blessed day everyone and dont forget in your busy world to somehow pay it forward to others and brighten another persons day ! signing out for now..... southern starr designs jewelry **
